RGBs digital workshops offer professional training for everyone interested in creative digital tools. The focus is on artists and students trying to navigate the use of new technologies. RGBs started organizing workshops in Montreal in 2008.
The logo was inspired by a Rubik’s “Magic” Cube, a 3D combination puzzle. For the puzzle to be solved, each face must be returned to have only one colour.

RGBs began as a small educational studio offering a limited number of workshops developed around digital design tools. It then transitioned into a community artist-centered studio dedicated to providing innovative, educational and collaborative programs in the digital arts and design.
RGBs’ mission switched from only teaching students software skills to collaboratively working with them on interesting creative projects, while expanding their minds and souls through art. RGBs’ curriculum now focuses more on visual arts and it seeks to develop skills in a range of (digital) art techniques and processes using line, colour, texture, form, etc.

“Great Art(ists)” promotional campaign
This is a series of posters from 2013, which promoted RGBs digital workshops as well as art appreciation and art education. The series was inspired by the great artists of the 19th and 20th century, and was realized by appropriating (”digitizing”) their famous works of art in red, green, and blue colors.
