Description
Design of various brochures, flyers and other promotional material.

Harmony Code was a fashion store located in Mile End area of Montreal. Mile End is a hip, laid-back neighborhood with an artsy vibe and multicultural roots. Indie shops selling records, books and vintage clothes are found throughout the area. Harmony Code was one of them, but what made it interesting was a unique combination of carefully picked clothes from all-over the world and an incredible selection of locally designed items – a combination of modern elegance and free-spirited bohemian style.

I was commissioned, as a part of Alimdar Design, to create the branding, design their website and the supporting promotional material. We set to to create an artful, vintage modern brand identity that would reflect the store’s style and philosophy. Our process led to the style that evokes modern elegance while offering a sense of freedom and relaxation.

We were inspired by the place itself, a cozy and stylish girls’ getaway, emitting a sense of freedom and relaxation. We decided to feature parts of the interior in many of our designs. In some of them we even made it the centerpiece.

Our work also included creation of print materials for several promotional campaigns over the years. Campaigns were focused on different clothing lines in the Harmony Code collection and on different sales events, and we used slightly different concepts for each of them while keeping the same underlying style.
